I am slowly working through my blanket using . I hope it will become a pattern one day. Using a trusty 4.50 mm Olivewood with Steph's Teal Pearl made by , why have the same for every hook when you can choose from so many options.

This years advent is another CAL Calendar. It is designed by me and this year the teething problems from last year should be resolved (I've had time to sort them).

We need to know the style and size you require, the wood and acrylic will be a total surprise, as an Advent Calendar should be.

I finished something! Well ends to weave but still! I'm notorious for starting big projects and not finishing, but this one I started on the 30th March and finished today. I didn't think I'd like Tunisian but I was so wrong. So therapeutic to do. This is a pattern by I Can Crochet That and it's the Gradient blanket. Unfortunately the yarn isn't from our range (yet, hopefully Lion Brand Yarn is something we can get in the future all being well). But the hook most definitely is a Henryettas Hook, an original Afghan cable with wooden ball end. Now to sort out another project so I can start another blanket. Oh and I won at yarn chicken!

Stylecraft Yarns is officially coming home! Having secured the future of a mill in Yorkshire, Stylecraft will be producing their Yarns in Britain. To celebrate, they are launching 20 new colours to add to the 100 DK colours they already have.

Hopefully, the squishy goodness will arrive soon, and comparison photos will be added to show against the existing range.
