We've always called our products eco-friendly. But we've never properly explained where the materials actually come from — so we wrote it all down.

Our Moso bamboo comes from an FSC-certified supplier in China (independently audited chain of custody, verified to August 2026). Our oak veneered MDF comes from a UK-based supplier, keeping the supply chain short.

We've also explained something people ask us about regularly — why bamboo products cost more than oak. Short answer: because bamboo costs more to buy. FSC-certified sheet material carries a real price premium and we pass that through honestly rather than hiding it.

Plus a section on how bamboo and oak actually engrave differently under the laser — bamboo shows the natural grain variation, oak gives a more consistent dark contrast. Neither is better, they're just different looks.
