Lovely day for Bude Food Festival.

I'm all set up with a wonderful selection of Usborne books for children.

I managed to have a Spring clean beforehand so my bargain box is freshly stocked.

Lots of delicious food stalls too!

Last sleep before the Bude Food Festival tomorrow.

My orange gazebo will be coming out of hibernation and I'll be there with my beautiful Usborne books.

Top Book Series

It's lovely to see so many Usborne books make Toppsta's top 50 book series.

It's great when a child finds a series they like. It helps them not only find a love of reading, but helps them build confidence in reading, recalling stories, expressing and sharing stories, build vocabulary and even research skills. I could go on!

Billy and the Mini Monsters and Sticker Dolly Stories were popular with my kids along with many of the other non-usborne series.

I'd definitely also add David Owen's Alex Neptune series (Usborne) which had my son and I gripped.
