Yesterday was a truly magical evening celebrating the release of When The Sky Falls by Jade Angeles Fitton 🌠

As the sun set and dusk fell over Bude we shared in food, drink and good company, before listening to Jade talk to about some of the most awe inspiring cosmic events over history. We got a glimpse into how shooting stars have held human imagination for as long as we've been here on earth, and also that their presence in our skies and on earth has been utilised and perceived in so many different ways.

Thank you to Jade for sharing your wisdom, passion and wonder with us for an evening, and for this beautiful book alongside Batsford
Also a big thank you to templeuptop for having us and for providing fabulous drinks and nibbles.

✨ We now have a limited amount of signed copies available in store of When The Sky Falls, a luminous read as the nights grow longer and darker ✨

✨ COME & JOIN US FOR A BOOK LAUNCH ✨

We are excited to be celebrating the release of When The Sky Falls, the next magical book by author Jade Angeles Fitton.

Living in one of rural Devon’s many dark sky zones, Jade’s adoration and curiosity of the stars has been lifelong, and with an engaging, accessible voice, she invites not only keen astrologists but everyday lovers of the romance and mysticism of the stars, to share her passion.
When the Sky Falls uncovers the varied ways in which shooting stars have held influence on our global culture including literature, art, folklore and even the governing of kings and queens.
A shooting star tearing through the black still feels like a little miracle, When the Sky Falls tells their captivating story. 🌠

Join us by star and candle light at templeuptop for food, drink, merriment and stories about shooting stars throughout the ages
