Best bet for some sport with carp is top lake, the first one you get to. Method Feeder fishes very well or floating bread will both see lots of action. Float fishing works but can be tricky not to foul hook fish as they can be quite aggressive feeders one you have built the swim up.
Three lakes are open down at the bottom car park. Willow’s, Shillet and Browns pond. Browns I would discard unless you looking for a challenge. Bites are slow but there are double figures in there, if you do try it use very smelly baits as the pond is very coloured. Willow and Shillet are both mixed with most coarse fish there are some nice size carp in Willows but in the main they are smaller than top pond.
