Last Saturday, this little pink gift shop was buzzing, and non-stop. Happy days.

This Saturday, by comparison, takings were down by 80%.

Now there are a few things I know I can partially attribute this to. But the whole darn thing of running a shop here is just SO RANDOM! Is it like that everywhere at the moment?

Does anyone have any wisdom for me?!

🐦‍⬛The beautiful swallow represents homecoming, resilience and hope.

These Lucky Swallows are made in Scotland from recycled ocean waste, and would make a very sweet gift if you know of any young style conscious swallows flying the nest soon...(I'm not crying, you're crying)..😭

They come in a variety of colours, they're very light, and just attach to the wall with a blob of blu tack, which means they're easy to move on when your young swallow does!

They're £14 each, available in store and on our website.

Shop Budleigh has highlighted some teacher gift suggestions from just a few of Budleigh High Street's fabulous independent businesses.

If you love to live in a thriving town, with a bustling High St that provides goods and services when you really need them, please try remember us when you're doing your everyday shopping!

We are very, very grateful indeed to those of you who already use our High Street, but there's always room for a little more.
(Remember, a High Street is for life, not just for Christmas 😉)
