Today I started week one (of a six week course) doing a woodworking skills workshop at Budleigh Community Workshop Trust.
Met some lovely people and have already learnt some new skills! Turns out I’m NOT a natural 😂 but I really did enjoy myself. I DID get a bit carried away with the plane … but Mick helped save my project.
Let’s see what I can achieve by week 6! I feel sorry for the instructors 😜

Leo has been following us since before we even took over the shop, and he’s from Hervey Bay — where we used to live too! 🇦🇺

I’m sorry I wasn’t in to meet you personally, Leo, but it was lovely of you to make the effort to come by and say hi. Hopefully our paths cross next time.
