Times are changing, and we need your help. ❤️
As of 6th July, our recycling company are no longer collect imperfect clothing, damaged books or broken bric-a-brac. Gone are the days when we could simply send unsaleable clothing for recycling and receive around £3 per bag.
This means that every item we have to dispose of now costs the charity money – money that could otherwise help care for the animals at Little Valley Animal Shelter, Exeter (RSPCA)
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing our Zero Waste – Donate with Love campaign, highlighting what we can and can’t accept as donations and explaining why these changes have happened.
Please remember, this is a charity-wide issue and not our shops being fussy. Our retail teams are simply following the new guidance, and many of the people serving you are amazing unpaid volunteers giving their time to support the animals.
