My name is Trudie Burne and I am presently taking the Level III in Fibrecraft at Bicton College (2013-14). Thoroughly amercing myself in felt art has been the best thing I think I have ever done! - since the birth of my 3 children of course! My creativity now runs wildly day and night, I now dream in felt and wake up with new ideas, desperate to make time to do my next 'thing'. I hope you enjoy looking through my work and following me on my journey in felt making. My art work will be on sale at forthcoming events, I will keep you posted as to where, and I am also now taking commissions. My Chicken Doorstops can be made to order to represent your own beloved feathered friend if you send me a photo!

Wow! Some amazing stuff!

Beautifully curated by Louise Jones-Williams, this exhibition opened today and runs until 28th of January.

Work by Anthropomorphica, Eleanor Bartleman, Christie Brown, Adrian Higgins, Kerry Jameson, Jackie Needham, Zenna Tagney, Yannick Unfricht and new work by me, Gladys Paulus.

A different pose for a hare than the one we see most often, this leaping hare is by Sharon Howell made from our camel coloured dyed English 56s wool. Thanks Sharon, this is brilliant.

Here is my etherial vintage style felt bridal wrap, completed just last week! A handcrafted one off original, never to be repeated! Made with up-cycled fabrics Nuno felted in, merino fibres, silks, velvet, lace and chiffon, completed with a rose fastener and felt & chiffon flower trim…
