SAVE THE DATE! OCTOBER 9th

From 6 to 8pm FuzzypegFolk will be hosting the launch of well-known local author and artist James Mayhew’s gorgeous new book - Peter and the Wolf - which is based on the original classic story and music written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936.

I’m so chuffed that James has again chosen FuzzypegFolk as the venue for the launch and, as you can imagine, we’ll be going all out to make this a magical occasion!

There’ll be music, storytelling, live illustration, book signing and giveaways not to mention fizz and snacks for the hungry wolves amongst you.

It was an extra special storytelling time at FuzzypegFolk today! Not only did we have James brilliantly telling us three folk tales whilst illustrating them upside down! We also had a special guest star appearance from violinist extraordinaire Caroline Speca Caroline Clarke Speca( a total surprise to me too!) who played along to the James’s tale of the Magic Violin.

FuzzypegFolk was filled with the magic of these two local legends. Thank you so much James and Caroline and to all who came along.

Next and last storytelling session is on October 31st and James promises it will be a spooky one!

James Mayhew, renowned local author, artist and storytelling legend will be telling tales in the shop from 4PM TODAY while he brilliantly live-illustrates them.

Sometimes I dress in colours that match my shop..and sometimes, by chance, my friends do too.

Haha here are Sarah Sarah and I in our matching red, white and blue on a sunny Bungay Folk Festival aft. Just need to change Otis the dog’s collar to red for full-on colour coordination!

What a dreadful music choice generated from stupid searching for “matching colours”…but just couldn’t resist it!

Sun setting on FuzzypegFolk and a full on Bungay Folk Festival Friday.

The festival Bungay Folk Festival bungay_folk_fest continues all weekend with a packed schedule of folk gigs, workshops and dancing. Programs available in FuzzypegFolk and in other shops and venues around the town.

It’s always all happening in Bungay. Come and have fun with us!

Here we go! Our next storytelling session is almost here at FuzzypegFolk.

James Mayhew James Mayhew, illustrator, well-known local author and artist, will be live illustrating and telling folk tales in the FuzzypegFolk shop in Bungay on

Saturday 12th September at 4pm

It will last around 45 minutes to an hour. The stories selected will be suitable for age 6+. We’ll have a little raffle at the end of each event with James’s live illustration as the prize!

This is a ticketed events due to the limited space in the shop. Tickets cost £5 for one child accompanied by one adult. They’re available to buy either in the shop or via the FuzzypegFolk website - link in bio - ( on Stationery page - search for “ticket”)

Make sure you select the ticket with the correct date!
