Martyn Burrows on Mallard Lake telling us “Another session at the mind clinic that is Wintons. I fished 24 hours, 7pm Friday to 7 pm Saturday with my fishing buddy Richard Streeter.
Swims 1 & 2 were free so Ric elected to fish 2, leaving me to do battle with the snags in 1 🤣
Not a lot of sleep and an action packed night ensued. I managed 8 Cats, 3 under 30lbs, 2 x 40lbs, 2 x 50lbs and 1 x 70lbs. Ric struggled but still managed to catch a couple of smaller Cats.
As ever our thanks go to Mo, Paula, Stu, Mike, Andy, Joe and the ever reliable Mr. Dabeard for making this probably the best run fishery in the South. We cannot wait to return for more therapy at the end of August!”

Andy Ellis on Kingfisher Lake “Great to be down on Kingfisher over the weekend. Did 48hrs from Friday evening resulting in 3 carp (12,16 and 26lb) couple of stunning fish for the future, a tench (8lb). Won’t talk about the bream lol. Great to watch the wildlife in a beautiful setting. Back again in August for another crack at it”

Couldn’t really get in amongst the cats with a couple of small kittens and one at 46lb, but as always the wildlife and tranquility helps pass the time very nicely.
