I'm definitely a night owl, always have been. Mornings are made for lazy Alfie snuggles 🥰

I'm liking the muted tones on this one, not my usual style either. The eyes have no glass in them, making them a bit unusual too.

I've changed my mind...

This is going in my bedroom instead. And I need to make more of them! 🤩

Fun fact: did you know, there are multiple names for a group of butterflies..
A rabble is for a large messy group of butterflies, a flight is when they're flying together as a group, a swarm is when there's a dense group of them flying and a flutter is when they all move their wings together. My favourite however, and most commonly used is a kaleidoscope 🦋 which reminds me, I need to make one 🤭

Halfway there...

This is the second biggest piece I've made and quickly becoming one of my favourites 🐙 looking forward to finally completing it, but first I have a date with my fiance 🥰 so this will have to wait until tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I'll be making a few pieces so watch this space...

Big thanks to the wonderful Bones&Bevels for the pattern. Looking forward to picking out glass for this month's pattern soon too.

And so it begins....

I need to make three bouquets, four lapel pins, three flowers for the cake decoration and at least five flowers for the welcome sign. And because I'm one of those odd people who need things to be the same size (or as close to) I need to stick a gazillion of these little vinyl stickers to my glass before I put my cutter to it 🤦🏻‍♀️ ....send help!

Annoyingly, I have no idea how many I need to make what's currently swimming around in my head. I just know that I need a lot 😅 for just one flower, I need to cut at least ten petals ...So if you don't hear from me, send snacks round the back of the Anchor pub in Burnham-on-Crouch, as that's where I'll be slowly going insane.

I can finally post this 🍰

I made this special cake box for a very special person. One of my favourite people in fact 💝 and she's celebrating her special 40th birthday today. Plus, it's just a coincidence that she told me her plans for today..... a picnic! What a fitting present 🎁

I am slowly coming to terms with using my special dichroic glass and I am trying to use it more often. I think it compliments this piece to give it a tiny bit of sparkly filling. I wouldn't recommend eating any of this though 😅
