Being vegan on the road…

Just back from a weekend away in Norfolk. Food options seemed a little restricted at first- I received comments like:

“Our chips are cooked in vegetable oil”

“We can do a goat’s cheese salad… without the cheese”

“We only do full-fat cakes”

But.. this was the highlight of the trip: mushy pea fritters with mint sauce. They were so good I’m going to try and replicate them!
