We are delighted to host “Remembering Village Celebrations in Burnham” — a relaxed and friendly gathering where you can share stories and reminisce about village parades, carnivals, fêtes, and other cherished local traditions.

Whether you have vivid memories to share or simply enjoy hearing about Burnham’s past, everyone is warmly welcome to come along and be part of the conversation alongside members and friends of the Burnham and District Heritage Society.

We have a busy week ahead at May’s! ☕✨

This Wednesday 3rd June, we’re excited to launch a new monthly event as part of the Chatty Café, with Bluebird Care inviting you to join us for a warm and welcoming coffee morning. Expect good company, delicious treats, and plenty of fun — the perfect way to brighten your morning.

The event runs from 10.30am to 12.00pm.

Alongside this, Bucks Vision South East Division will be joining us for Wellbeing Wednesday, sharing a helpful talk on sight loss, local services, useful equipment, and practical tips.

It’s set to be a lovely community morning, and we’d love to see you there. 💙

What an amazing weekend! 🎉 The Almost the Donkey Derby was such a brilliant celebration of Burnham and our community. 💚

Thank you to everyone who visited our stall and joined in the fun. We had a fantastic time with the Guess the Chocolate game 🍫, and the children loved the lucky dip 🎁.

Huge congratulations to Tracey and Brill, who won the Lucky Chocolate game, and to Janet, who won the amazing May’s hamper 🏆👏

We also had some lovely conversations with visitors to the stall, and we’re hopeful we may have recruited a new volunteer or two, so you may see some new faces soon! 😊

A big thank you to everyone involved in making this such a great event for Burnham, Buckinghamshire. We’re already looking forward to next year! 🙌

We’re excited to be part of the Almost the Donkey Derby in Burnham Park this Saturday, and the weather is looking fantastic.

At May’s Chocolate House, we love getting involved in all things Burnham, and this is always such a brilliant community event. We’d love for you to come and visit our stall, say hello, and join in the fun.

A children’s lucky dip

A chance to win a beautiful hamper filled with May’s goodies

We’re sorry to share that Noisy Table Bakery won’t be joining us on Saturdays moving forwards due to other commitments. We’ve absolutely loved having their delicious sourdough and muffins in the shop, and we’ll keep you posted if they’re back with us in the future.

We’re very sorry that Noisy Table Bakery are not able to be with us tomorrow Saturday 11th April but they should be back with their delicious sourdough and muffins next Saturday 18th April.

In the meantime we have lots of locally made products including a good selection of homemade cakes and biscuits from Rambler Kitchen and of course our delicious Belgian chocolates to tempt you!
