Guys, please please please check who you are handing your devices too for repair.
This customer came to us after spending £280 at another store for a replacement screen, sadly the store didn’t use the correct techniques to remove and transfer the battery, resulting in it swelling. This has caused the back glass to separate but as the customer has a well fitted case, it’s then caused pressure to build up against the display and damage it.
Another screen, a new battery, a few screws that went missing during the last repair and it’s back up and running.
We are seeing a lot of horror stories recently about repairs that have been done badly, usually from places that only take cash and don’t want to know when it goes wrong.
