A little peek behind the scenes as I get Pumpkin Latte ready for another autumn.

From melting the wax to pouring each candle by hand, there's something really lovely about watching (and smelling) a batch come together.

Soon these will be available for you to light up your cosiest of corners and set the mood for your slow evenings.

The Pumpkin Latte Soy Candle will be back on the 18th August.

I thought closing the shop meant I'd failed and it's taken a few months to see that it was me NOT giving up on my dreams - i'm pursuing them!

People often think changing direction means giving up. Sometimes it's the opposite. Closing the shop isn't the end of Wild Venus - far from it! It's me choosing the version of the business that has the best chance of thriving and the part of the business that I love with all my heart x

The Shop is gone but Wild Venus has not gone anywhere!
Shop Update - It’s been a whole week since we closed the doors of Wild Venus on Brown Street, and lots has been happening behind the scenes.

The shelves are now mostly empty, and I’ve started transforming the space into the new Wild Venus HQ.

It’s going to become my storage area, office, labelling space, packaging area and where all your lovely parcels are collected from!

I still can’t believe I used to squeeze all of those jobs in behind the tiny shop counter.

I’ve also been thinking about how to repurpose some of the shop fittings that I no longer need. I think I’ve come up with some rather ingenious ideas…

The Shop is gone but Wild Venus has not gone anywhere!
Shop Update - It’s been a whole week since we closed the doors of Wild Venus on Brown Street, and lots has been happening behind the scenes.

And it's very almost the end of an era!
It will be sad to pack all of these beautiful things up and send back to our talented small business friends but I'm also excited for the next chapter!
