🎸Thought you might like to see this Gibson Les Paul Junior which was on the bench recently!🎸

The original P90 was not to its owners taste so he asked us to take it out and install in its place his supplied Curley Oak humbucker. These are a great option if you prefer the sound of a humbucker but don’t want to start chopping up your P90-loaded guitar.

We also replaced the original Classic Cream oval machine heads and fitted a new set of Kluson Green Keys.

Then, as always, it got the full Pro Solo treatment:

☀️ Clean&lemon oiled fingerboard
🎸 Full restring with a set of Rotosound R10 .010–.046 gauge strings
🎛️ Full check over

🎸 NOW THIS IS A NICE ONE! 🎸

We’ve had this rather special Fender USA Telecaster in on the bench for a bit of Pro Solo TLC.

This one has a great story behind it — it was signed by Francis Rossi himself when he was at Burnley Mechanics Theatre for his Tunes & Chat tour on 25th November 2023. 🎸

It’s had the full treatment while it’s been with us:

All checked over, serviced and playing nicely — and now it’s ready to head back home to its owner. 👍

🎸🚤 Now this was a bit special for us at Pro Solo!

We were absolutely chuffed to welcome robbie_cumming and his girlfriend Lyndsey into the shop as part of the filming for Episode 6, Series 8 of Robbie Cumming’s Canal Boat Diaries

We’ve actually watched the series ourselves for years, so having Robbie walk through the door at Pro Solo was a proper “is this really happening?” moment! 😂

And with Robbie being a musician and guitar player, it didn’t take long for us to get chatting about guitars and music. He had a good look around the shop, played a few guitars and we had a proper natter along the way.

It was brilliant to be involved in the filming, and we’re genuinely really excited to see the episode when it comes out — especially to see how much of our little corner of Pro Solo makes the final cut! 👀📺

A huge thanks to Robbie and his girlfriend for coming in. It was an absolute pleasure having you both — and yes, we did manage to let Robbie leave without buying a guitar… just! 😂🎸

Episode 6, Series 8 — we’ll definitely be watching this one!
