Over the last few weeks the Opus Pro Audio team have been extremely busy carrying out dozens of lighting, sensory, audio and AV installations, along with many audio and lighting services for some of our customers.

Recently we carried out a lighting and audio service at Woodhey High School to help keep their equipment within 'Woody's' sports hall, the Frank Bennett hall and the drama studio up to scratch and looking great for another twelve months 😊

At Opus Pro Audio we believe it's important to make sure our engineers complete the work and all repairs on site (if possible), so it can be used straight away. We will only remove equipment to take back to our workshop to repair if the repair definitely cannot be carried out on site, or parts are required to complete the repair.

Thursdays are for throw backs 2026…

At the start of April 2026, the team at Opus Pro Audio carried out the installation of a full acoustic panel configuration within the main hall at Colne Town Council.

The installation included a mixture of 29 1200mm x 1200mm ceiling and wall mounted acoustic panels. After the install within the hall, the difference was easily noticeable of how the panels had improved the sound quality by reducing the reverberation.

Thursdays are for throw backs 2018…

In 2018 the team at Opus Pro Audio were approached by the team at Whitewell Bottom Community Centre, to install a new PA system in the hall.

The installation included a pair of Opus CS Speakers, BGR250 Mixer Amplifier, Multi Media Player. Bluetooth Connection, IPad Audio Link and a Hand Held Radio Microphone system.

With equipment from our suppliers at AVSL Group Ltd and TOA Electronics the system was simple to use and sounded amazing after the installation 🤩

Thursdays are for throw backs 2021…

Back in 2021 the team at Opus Pro Audio carried out a PA System upgrade at Padiham Football Club.

The upgrade included a new Cloud Zoner mixer, two Cloud RSL-6 controls, a Crown amplifier, indoor speakers, Bluetooth input receivers, audio links from the TV to the new PA system, outdoor PA speakers and a100v amplifier to run them.

Thursdays are for throw backs 2025...

At the start of 2025, the team at Opus Sensory designed and installed a sensory room for our new customers at St Joseph's Academy in Todmorden.

The installation included a bubble tube, fibre optic harness with LED light source, acrylic mirrors, waterwave LED effect, LED star ceiling, bluetooth music system, 8 way switching panel and the new tree design switch controller.

The equipment installed has totally transformed the room.

Remember the Opus team install new sensory spaces within small spare rooms and areas that would usually never be used. We can see the potential a small area can hold and by using our knowledge, we can bring life to an unused area.
Our room designs comprise of many sensory items which are designed and created by our engineers at Opus Sensory along with equipment from our suppliers AVSL Group Ltd and Angus Firth Design.

We design, service and install some fantastic large or small sensory rooms and equipment throughout the North West, so if you are looking for anything sensory room related, we are the local experts to talk to.

At the end of 2025 the team at Opus Pro Audio were approached by St James the less Catholic primary school to design and install an acoustic solution within the main school hall. The installation included nearly 40 acoustic panels and had an amazing effect on the hall reverberation.

At the end of 2025, the team at Opus Pro Audio carried out the installation of a new LED stage lighting system in the main school hall at Lord Street Primary School in Colne.

Included in the upgrade was the lighting bars, a number of high powered LED light effects and silent RGBWAUV LED Par cans which are all controlled by a simple to use lighting controller.
