Well hello October! 🍂

How are you here already?! Seriously… HOW?! I swear I blinked and suddenly we’re into the final few months of the year. 😳

I only have a few select events this month as I’m taking some much-needed quality family time with the three glamorous assistants. 🐾❤️

All 300 Christmas trees are officially folded as of 9.30pm last night! 🙌🏻

I’m back in front. I’VE DONE IT! 😭😂

I’m still waiting for the delivery of decorations, so I’ve got 120 trees still to decorate, but I’m taking this as a HUGE win on my side.

300 trees. Folded. DONE. 💪🏻🎄

For now, I’m choosing to celebrate the achievement rather than focus on the 120 staring at me waiting for their little glow-up. 😂

Note to self:
👉🏻 Don’t leave 300 bloody Christmas trees until the last minute next time. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

But honestly… I’m ridiculously proud of myself. ❤️ #❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

8 WEEKS TODAY! 😳🎄📚

In exactly 8 weeks, I’ll be packing the big van, getting the last bits together and, no doubt, panicking, worrying, crying and questioning every single one of my life choices. 😂

But do you know what?

I CAN DO THIS. 💪

I am brave.
I am strong.
I am capable.
I am absolutely bloody-minded enough to see this through. 😂

There will probably be tears. There will definitely be swearing. 😂

But 8 weeks from now, I’ll be standing there looking at a van full of everything I’ve worked so hard to make, knowing that I DID IT. ❤️

So for now… deep breath, head down and keep folding those bloody books. 😂📚

🎄 CHRISTMAS TREE CHALLENGE UPDATE 🎄

Right… slight confession. 👀

I’m a tad behind schedule. 😂
BUT… before anyone panics, I’m not that far behind!

I now have 180 fully decorated trees 🎄🎄🎄
Yes… ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY! 🙌

My decorations arrived… only for me to discover that, once again, I had not ordered enough. 🤦‍♀️

So naturally, I’ve placed ANOTHER order. 😂

This time I have DEFINITELY ordered plenty.

I mean… surely.

Probably.

Maybe. 🤣

At this point, the delivery driver probably thinks I’m opening a Christmas decoration warehouse in my spare room. 🎅📦

But honestly, I’m feeling pretty bloody pleased with myself. 🥰 I’ve got myself into a good rhythm, the trees are piling up nicely and it’s actually starting to look like I might pull this ridiculous challenge off! 🎄💪

180 done. 120 More to go.

Send snacks. Send c***r. Send Christmas decorations.
Actually… no more decorations. I’VE GOT ENOUGH NOW. Hopefully 😂😂

🎄 CHRISTMAS TREE CHALLENGE – DAY 12! 🎄

Well… look at me actually being organised! 😂🙌

I’ve now made AND decorated 100 Christmas trees! 🎄🎄🎄

I’ve got 61 still waiting to be decorated, BUT… I massively underestimated how much decoration I was going to need 🤦‍♀️😂 So, naturally, more has been ordered. Because apparently 300 trees wasn’t enough of a challenge!

The good news is I’ve got myself into a lovely little rhythm with the folding, and I’m actually feeling pretty accomplished and pleased that I’m still on track! 💪🎄

There is one small logistical issue…

⭐ The stars will NOT be going on until the trees arrive at the venues! ⭐

Apparently transporting 300 trees with stars sticking out everywhere is not exactly practical… who knew?! 😂

So for now, it’s fold, decorate, repeat… and try not to lose the will to live before Christmas! 🎄🤣

100 down. 61 to decorate. 139 still to go. Plenty more folding to do.

A huge thank you to all involved with Bolton Food and Drink Festival this bank holiday weekend. I won’t lie the 4 day weekend has hit me hard and I’m feeling slightly broken. The weather was not kind, particularly after the glorious summer we have had, it could have lasted a little longer. Oh well, we survived. Thank you to all who stopped, chatted and purchased it does mean a lot. A couple of days rest then back to it on Saturday. Thank you all so much xx

Just like that……September is upon us. How is that possible? It still feels like April to me. I have some events booked but thankfully not a full on month. I have some orders to crack on with, the Christmas tree crisis as well as regroup and restock but it’s all very doable (she’s says confidently). I’ll post where you can find me later on xx
