Hey... hey...

Look what I got 😎

Yes, the cat is out of the bag and Warhammer Tone Pro is coming! Are these the greatest paints ever? I don't know, I'm not allowed to open them yet! But something I do know is that we'll all be able to try them for ourselves this Saturday.

We're going to have a table set up this weekend for that very purpose so why no pop down and pick a brush up for yourselves? I know I'm excited to get my hands on that Shade Medium. It sounds like an absolute game changer.

It's Wednesday. You know what that means!

Weirdboyz sit uniquely apart from the psykers of other, punier races as they do not draw their power from immaterium. Each Ork is possessed of degree of WAAAGH Energy- a ;atent psychic field that surrounds them and grows ever more powerful the greater the number of greenskins in any given place. It is this field that the Weirdboy is able to manipulate.

Thus the potential damage that a Weirdboy can cause is proportional to the size of the pool of WAAAGH Energy it is able to draw upon. But Orks are simple creatures and there is ever a danger that their greedy minds draw upon more WAAAGH Energy than they can safely channel- the side effects of this are as disastrous as any Perils of the Warp failure!

This very dangerous Weirdboy comes to us from Pete who has gone a step further whilst building his miniature and added some very cool crackling energy effects with spare wire.

Pete's Weirdboy has drawn too greedily upon the energies of the WAAAGH and the only thing that will calm him and prevent him from blowing his own face off is photographs of YOUR hobby!

The weekend is here!

I hope everyone's excited about last night's reveals. What were your favourite announcements? I'm desperate to try the Shading Medium in the Warhammer Tone Plus range and that Seraphon battletome is calling my name!

New Space Marines are on pre-order now and your Necromunda pre-orders are in store for collection.

Speaking of Necromunda- all week we're going to be exploring the grimy underhives and showing you how to paint your Zone Mortalis bases with a quick scheme anyone can easily replicate. Drop in a try it out!

The first thing I'd noticed upon making planetfall was that the tiled flooring of the landing bay seemed to be made from a series of magazines*, laid out in a repeating pattern.

I was trying to making sense of this when a foul odour distracted my attention. My nose hairs hairs bristled at the arrival of my faithful aide Jugen. He clumsily rifled though his collection of hidden pockets and produced a flask of tanna tea from deep within his overcoat. I gleefully wrapped my augmented fingers around a cup and my thoughts returned to the mission at hand.

Good afternoon folks!

You may have noticed a flurry of activity today on our page! All our anniversary events and activities are now up and live in our events sections so you can start getting excited about everything that you can come down and get involved with over the full nine days. I'm painting Ciaphas Cain up now for his daring escape from the Necron Tomb world and he has been a joy so far. A jawline even Rogal Dorn himself would be envious of and a true Hero of the Imperium!

We've also received samples of all the Anniversary Gifts which are out on display for you to pop in and have a look at. The gaming mat is mega! Fully twice the size of previous gifts and just perfect for a full game of Combat Patrol.

While we're here which of the exclusive miniatures do you think looks the coolest? Are you team Aeldari or team Soulblight?

It's Wednesday. You know what that means!

Normal service is resumed thus I can (with great excitement) share the progress Stefan is making on his Redd the Maw! A fellow Contrast Paint enjoyer- the red hot coals beneath Redd's gristle-streaked Mawpot are a sight to behold. I daresay they're so realistic I could make S'mores off them... 🔥
