WE ARE OPEN! We’re delighted to have opened our little Eco Shed at Craythorne Farm! You’ll find a range of our refillable and best-selling sustainable products available including beauty, household cleaning and gifts. We will be open Wednesdays to Sundays, between 10am and 2pm. So pop down to see us at Craythorne Courtyard and also visit all the other lovely onsite businesses whilst you’re here!

GETTING READY! Work continues on our little project with this cute space, which will be home to a range of our eco and sustainable products, a lot of which are handily refillable and can also be delivered locally too. We’re looking forward to adding our final touches over the next few days and officially opening so stay tuned!

WHERE COULD WE BE? We’re popping up at a new location later this week and we’re excited to get settled in and meet all of our new neighbours. Once set up, you’ll find our pre-filled household refill bottles, cleaning powders, beauty products and much more available to browse and purchase. PFJ DAY 30 - sharing with others is a great way to reinforce the Plastic Free July message. That could be simply starting conversations with friends, family, or colleagues on a surprising learning from the month, getting people together to watch a documentary on the topic (complete with plastic free popcorn for the viewing party) and an evening hosting a local swap night, where everyone can benefit from swapping plastic free items to use elsewhere. The possibilities are endless!

PFJ DAY 29 - dining in doesn’t have to take a lot of time and helps cut down on the use of disposable cups, containers, cutlery, and packaging. Plus it’s lovely taking the time to just stop and enjoy food or drink sitting down, rather than on the go, making the experience all the more enjoyable and enriching.

PFJ DAY 28 - storing food safely and securely is possible without the need for single-use plastic wrap. Reusable containers are a convenient and effortless swap; glass jars that used to have sauce or condiments in them can be washed out and reused, and as plastic containers get old or worn out, they can be gradually replaced with glass or stainless steel versions instead of buying new ones. Reusable silicone covers, tin foil or baking paper, beeswax wraps, or the old tried and true trick of putting a plate over a bowl are all quick and easy swaps to use in your own home too.

PFJ DAY 27 - from washable pads, liners and period pants, to reusable menstrual cups and discs, there’s an increasing number of plastic free period products to suit all different bodies and preferences. Whilst costs can initially be a little higher at the start, reusables are a long term investment that if looked after will save you money and avoid a lot of high street products ending up in landfill.

PFJ DAY 26 - life can be a picnic when you go plastic free. Enjoying food and drink not wrapped in plastic, using reusable containers to transport food, making homemade items to share with family and friends and using reusable cutlery, plates, and glasses, and washable napkins are all great ways to minimise our impact on the environment.
