🚨 Unit Nine Gets Upgraded to Danley Sound Labs! 🚨

We recently upgraded Unit Nine with a serious Danley rig, and it’s been putting in WORK.

Here’s what’s been shaking the walls:
- 6x Danley TH118XL – deep, chest-rattling subs
- 2x Danley SH96HO – crystal-clear, punchy mains
- 2x Linea Research 44M20 – all the power & control
- Behringer X32 Rack – keeping the mix tight

We also collaborated with Direct-VA to install a new monitor and control package consisting of:
- 4x SevenSound XT10 - clean, present monitoring
- SevenSound XD4-2800 Amplifier - efficient power
- SevenSound i48 DSP Processor - precise signal processing
- RC1 Sound System RC Audio Leveliza - inaudible and transparent level control
- RC1 Sound System RC Audio Red Alert - Effective DJ mixer level control

Another Year of Rocking with Planet Rock! 🎸🔥

Another incredible year at Planet Rock’s Rockstock and Winter’s End, and we loved every minute of it! These festivals bring together some of the best live rock music around, and it’s always an honour to make sure they sound as good as they should.

A huge thanks to 3D Events for having us back—always a pleasure working with you!

For the Main Room we rolled out the trusty Martin Audio Ltd Wavefront W8 and WSX system—because when it comes to rock, nothing delivers that power and punch quite like it. On stage, LE400 monitors and Celestion Speakers sidefills kept the bands in the zone, while mixes were handled on ALLEN & HEATH dLive C3500 and Avantis consoles.

For Room 2 we used a full Danley Sound Labs PA including TH118XL subs and SH69HT tops providing amazing weight and clarity, with an SQ7 console and LE400 monitors.

Linea Research amps kept the energy flowing, and Shure, AKG and Sennheiser microphones made sure every vocal, riff, and drum hit was heard loud and clear.

Already looking forward to next set—bring it on! 🤘

As 2024 draws to a close, we want to give a big thank you to all the bands, djs, venues, festivals, promoters, organisers, and clients we have worked with this year.

It's been great fun, and we've been to some beautiful places.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Direct-VA for a demo of some PL-audio and SevenSound equipment.

The PL-Audio M15CX monitor was a particular stand out for us. It has exceptional output for its size, and being a single amp channel box allows for more mixes over less amps.

The SevenSound XR5 paired with an XB15 made for a very sweet sounding system for restaurants and bars where a smooth tonal response is favoured over high SPL output.
