Our second Clare Craft Market of 2026 opens on October 24th inside Clare Town Hall and, as always, entry is totally free of charge and no ticket is required.

You’ll meet a truly wonderful selection of the most talented makers and artists from across our region selling a range of handmade products including ceramics, metal and wood work, wax melts, original artwork, jewellery, homewares, block printed goods, candles and natural skincare.

Our Pop Up Cafe will be open too so expect the very best freshly baked cakes, sausage rolls, cheese toasties and delicious scones alongside Barista Coffee and the best Hot Choccie!

It’s going to be another lovely sunny October day on Saturday and we’ll be back outside the Mercury Theatre Colchester with our gorgeous Colchester Farmers Market where you’ll be able to enjoy shopping from over thirty fantastic stalls.

It’s time for Autumn flavours to shine and the David Nolan will be piled high with ‘cosy suppers.’ Lauriston Farm and alderdale will have delicious root veg and visit Tim & Sophie's Farm for grass fed local beef and pork.

It’s your last chance to buy locally grown Dahlias this Saturday at Colchester Farmers Market.
These stunning flowers are grown by Caroline Caroline Hunt | Flower Farmer & Florist just down the road in Lawford and every year, as the seasons change and we head into October, we know that the end of her stunning dahlias is near, until next year.

Does anyone have a good quality pop up gazebo that they'd like to sell? One of our regular traders is looking to buy one but it ideally needs to have a pale coloured canopy.

We are off to our fab local pub Crown Hartest to celebrate our gorgeous daughter’s 21st birthday - it seems like yesterday that she was a little tot helping her mum clear up after Lavenham Farmers Market! Have a lovely Sunday evening everyone and we’ll see you on Saturday in Colchester ###
