Quality barley begins in the field 🚜🌱

Our Roots Revival barley is grown using regenerative techniques that support healthier soils and lower carbon footprints, including cover crops, minimal tillage, organic fertilisers and accurate dosage.

With help from Soil Capital, each farm’s CO₂ emissions are measured annually and independently audited, giving us a clear footprint per tonne of barley.

Healthy soils mean a healthier future. Roots Revival is our commitment to a more resilient, climate-conscious malting barley supply chain.

Better barley starts with better farming 🚜

Roots Revival is our sustainable malt range, supporting regenerative farming to boost soil health, biodiversity, and lower carbon emissions across UK malting barley.

UK farming faces soil degradation, extreme weather, and biodiversity loss, but regenerative practices offer a path forward. By partnering with farmers and Soil Capital, we measure and reward soil improvements, reduce emissions, and produce barley with a smaller environmental footprint.

Regenerative techniques we support:

🌱 Cover Crops: Improve soil structure, boost organic matter, reduce erosion, and capture carbon.
🌱 Minimal Tillage: Protect soil health and keep carbon stored in the ground.
🌱 Organic Fertilisers & Precision Application: Lower carbon footprint and apply nutrients only where needed.

Healthy soil, healthy planet means better malt for brewers and distillers.
