Sometimes the biggest improvements don’t come from replacing the turntable, but from unlocking the performance that’s already there.

This recent upgrade centred around replacing the standard supplied cartridge on a Debut PRO S Balanced with the superb Concorde Music Bronze, before partnering with the matching Pro-Ject Tube Box S3 B balanced phono stage via the dedicated mini balanced XLR cable.

The result? A substantial uplift in transparency, dynamic expression, soundstage & low level resolution, with noticeably greater instrumental separation & a far more natural sense of timing. Surface noise dropped signifcantly, fine detail emerged with greater ease & vocals in particular took on a naturaness & presence that simply wasn’t there before.

It’s a great reminder that the phono stage is every bit as important as the cartridge itself. The Concorde Bronze is capable of extracting an extraordinary amount of information from the groove, but it takes an equally capable phonostage to preserve it. Combined with a fully balanced signal path from cartridge to phonostage, the entire analogue front end comes alive.

This time last week, we hosted our first live music evening at Anagram Audio, celebrating all things analogue. A huge thank you to for leading the evening and to the wonderfully talented for an incredible performance.

It was fantastic to see so many people join us, and we loved spending the evening chatting with everyone about our shared interest in music and our journey with the showroom in Bury St Edmunds.

Reference level performance doesn’t always require racks full of equipment & endless cabling. Sometimes, less really can be more!

Working closely with our client, we designed a bespoke AV media wall centred around a pair of fully active wireless Goldmund Melos loudspeakers. The brief was simple: exceptional performance, a small footprint, seamless integration & a luxury finish that complemented the room rather than dominating it. With their compact form factor, all-metal construction & unmistakable Swiss engineering, the Melos proved the perfect solution.

Elsewhere in the room, a Goldmund Eidos streamer provides the source, delivering bit perfect digital audio directly to the Melos via Goldmund’s proprietary DSP architecture. The result is a system free from conventional amplification, yet capable of remarkable transparency, speed & control.

Custom cabling from Shunyata Research & Furutech was specified throughout to ensure every aspect of the signal & power chain performs at its best.

This was a hugely enjoyable project from start to finish, resulting in a clean, contemporary installation that delivers genuine high-end performance without an ounce of compromise.

We’d like to invite you along to an intimate evening of live music, vinyl playback & analogue culture with LowSwing Records & live performance from Reema.

Join us at Anagram Audio on Monday 22nd June from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for a special evening celebrating analogue music, vinyl culture & the emotional connection that exceptional playback can bring.

Hosted in collaboration with Berlin based LowSwing Records, the evening will feature a live performance from Reema alongside carefully curated vinyl selections drawn from both the LowSwing catalogue & a handpicked collection of personal favourites presented by Jason Ford, UK distributor for LowSwing Records & lifelong analogue enthusiast.

Throughout the evening, guests will experience a series of intimate listening sessions across reference analogue playback systems within the Anagram Audio showroom, with selected records available to browse & purchase on the night.

Designed for music lovers, vinyl enthusiasts & anyone who appreciates the artistry of analogue recording & reproduction, this promises to be a relaxed, immersive & highly atmospheric evening centred around music discovery, conversation & shared listening.
