Open Tue-Sat 10.30am to 4pm. Find us at St Johns House, St Johns Street behind Bury St Edmunds library. This will be a new journey for me here at Clear to Sea. Learning how to reduce waste, both packaging and food. Unfortunately, we are living in a crazy world of endless and mindless packaging which is used only once and ends up in our bin. Most of us have seen the impact plastic is having in both our oceans and on land. I’ve felt so saddened by this waste pollution that I am going to try and do my bit for mankind and have opened up a shop called Clear to Sea. A shop without packaging. A shop that reminds me of my childhood. We all lead busy lifestyles but have to consider a change in our consumer habits. Every little change will help our planet and everyone making that little change will definitely have an impact upon waste. Come and join me on this journey at Clear to Sea. Bring your own container; weigh it, fill it with whatever goodies you need, weigh and pay.

Meal prepping lunches for next week can be plastic-free with our compostable sandwich bags.

These bags have no coating, and keep bread soft for up to 6 hours.

Some people also use the bags to store cheese in the fridge, or even as a back-up bag for refilling.

UpCircle shampoo crème is back in stock.

And, as per a review from Katie, it's suitable for coloured hair too. She says you only need a pea sized amount, so a little goes a long way - but top tip: avoid getting water into your jar else the crème turns to slurry.

Because it's refillable, you can just buy a small amount and give it a go.

And, as ever, it's cheaper to buy a refill from us than to buy a new jar 🤗

Our refillable diffuser oils are made locally in Stowmarket, and we have a changing lineup of flavours to keep things fresh.

Karla is a big fan of seitan after making some for the first time using ingredients from Clear to Sea.

Doesn't her first try look great? 🤩

Karla used a different recipe to mine (as I forgot to send it to her!) but she liked it so much she came in again on Saturday for mote supplies.

The key ingredient is vital wheat gluten, a dried wheat protein essential to making seitan - a vegan meat alternative.

Come and give it a go, before Karla buys what's left 😂

Why not try an all-natural deodorant made in the UK?

We've had a restock of the sticks, and have plenty of tins.

The sticks have bicarb free and vegan options, while all of the tins are vegan approved!

Lots of scents to choose from, too, plus unscented for those with a delicate nose. My personal favourite is the bay tree and orange tin ❤️

We are open as usual, Tue to Sat 10.30am to 4pm.
