📢 OUTRAGED: Pharmacies snubbed in latest business rates support package 🧪

The Government has announced new business rates relief for pubs and music venues — but community pharmacies have been left out of this support. 

👉 According to the National Pharmacy Association, this decision is “an insult” to hard-pressed pharmacists who already struggle with historic underfunding, soaring medicine costs and rising business rates. 

📍 Unlike pubs, pharmacies can’t simply raise prices — most of their work is funded by the NHS — and excluding them from relief risks pushing some to the brink of closure. 

💬 As the NPA says: essential healthcare services deserve support too. 

It’s simply outrageous that the Government should offer business rate relief to pubs but ignore pharmacies that play a vital health role on thousands of our high streets.

We’ve had another delay with the delivery of our robot’s replacement part and are now expecting it to arrive tomorrow.

Friday is always one of our busiest days, and our team is working hard to dispense as much as possible under very challenging conditions.
If you have a large prescription that you need before the weekend we may redirect you to our Town Centre branch where we can assist you.
