R.I.P Óscar Arístides de la Renta Fiallo (22 July 1932 – 20 October 2014) was a Dominican-American fashion designer. Born in Santo Domingo, he was trained by Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio del Castillo; he became internationally known in the 1960s as one of the couturiers to dress Jacqueline Kennedy. An award-winning designer, he worked for Lanvin and Balmain; his eponymous fashion house continues to dress leading figures, from film stars to royalty, into the 2010s.

Halloween Costume Dos & Don’ts:

DO save the skimpy looks for the bedroom
Don’t commit the ultimate costume cop-out: Lingerie and random props do not a Halloween costume make.

DO be a femme fatale

DON’T dress up as your frenemy
Style insiders had a good laugh when designer Roberto Cavalli dressed up as fellow fashion VIP Karl Lagerfeld. But while imitating your faux BFF or crazy co-worker sounds funny in theory, chances are she won’t appreciate the joke.

DO keep it simple
Don’t spend your whole night trying to explain your last-minute, random getup. Make sure your costume is something people can easily understand, even after a few rounds of spiked punch.

DON’T supersize It
One wrong move with a bulky outfit spells disaster for glass-filled bars and other fragile backdrops.

DO dress up your eyes
The holiday is the perfect excuse to test-drive glamorous makeup

DON’T wear bloody makeup.
It’s just scary—and not in that good trick-or-treat kind of way.

DO take advantage of Halloween to get wild and crazy
Grab a blond wig, major shades, platform heels and anything else you can get your hands on

DON’T use body paint if you are planning on having a hot and heavy night. Skip the full body makeup if you think you might be smooching (or more-than-smooching) your date on Halloween. Turns out getting white paste and glittery goop all over your guy isn’t a great seduction technique.

We are a small company based in Stowmarket specialising in online retailing ladies fashion. Our success since launching in 2011 has enabled us to expand rapidly, and has created a fantastic career opportunity for a young person to join the fashion industry.

Sales and Administration Assistant
We are seeking highly motivated individual to assist us with the development of the business. Successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of the company's ativities from purchase and preparatrion of stock through to shipping and customer support. This is an exciting role for someone to get a toehold in the fashion industry.

Applicants must be passionate about ladies fashion, have good computer skills and the ability to work in a pressurised environment. This role will lead to a level 2 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Salary is in line with the government guidelines for level 2 apprenticeships. Successful candidates will also qualify for the company monthly bonus scheme. A laptop computer will be provided.
