From expanding our technological proposition to establishing a new dispatch sequencing system, the improvements will help us deliver to our valued customers faster and more efficiently than ever before.

We are thrilled to welcome John Moore to the Capper Sharrock team as our new Commercial Director 🙌

John brings 35 years of experience in the flooring industry, having started his career at Rolfe & West Eccles back in 1991.

With extensive knowledge across Sales, Buying, Warehouse and Transport operations, John possesses a deep understanding of our trade.

Known for his proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and committed work ethic, John is passionate about maintaining the high standards of service, reliability and support that customers value, while helping ensure Capper Sharrock remains a trusted partner to the flooring trade.

In his role as Commercial Director, John will focus on strengthening our team, driving operational expansion, improving systems and processes across the business, and exploring future product ranges to support continued growth.

Managing Director Heath Capper commented: “I’ve known John for nearly 30 years and know the work ethic and experience he brings to the business. His appointment as Commercial Director is a genuine win for Capper Sharrock. This weekend our own Alice Dixon, Area Sales Manager (West Yorkshire) will participate in York Pride 2026, representing The Hygiene Bank York, and helping to raise awareness of this vital cause! 🫶✨

Leading a team of six volunteers, Alice will be helping to inform the community about hygiene poverty – wherein individuals and families are forced to choose between food and basic essentials – while championing the Bank’s initiatives and sharing its impact across the local community.

Alice’s team also hope to replicate last year’s success after winning the award for Most Engaging Stand!
