🎃hApPy HaLlOwEeN 🎃 everyone 😄 This morning I did a little experiment with a group of willing participants (always a good thing 😆). Sadly, due to COVID restrictions, the kids’ workshop I was to deliver this week at The Designerie had to be cancelled. Sooooo, I thought I’d try running it online. Packs were put together and distributed, fancy dress was organised and we all got together online and had a lot of fun (despite a few connectivity issues). Result..... 9 fabulous quilled pumpkins!!!🎃 Here are some of the results. 🎃🎃 Thank you to all for taking part. I’m developing more ideas for online workshops, so keep watching this space!

A Crafter At Heart.

I have always been a crafter. Ever since I worked out that making things was fun, I’ve been doodling, knitting, crocheting, making silver jewellery (check out my Etsy shop - Atlantic Rose) and fiddling with bits of paper. I grew up in a household were every occasion- birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, christenings- was marked with homemade decorations made by myself and my brothers and sisters. Its still something I love doing today with my own children.

One of my favourite things to do is make paper decorations. I don't even really need a party as an excuse to get the craft paper and scissors out! I am incessantly doodling or thinking of things to make. I could do it all day if I was able too. Once I discovered Illustrator and honed my skills, well......a whole other world of fun opened up.

I set up Ragged Rose Creations as a creative outlet for my designs. So please, browse my Etsy shop for downloadable copies of my designs to make up yourself. Or if you’d prefer me to make you something, please get in touch through Facebook or my Etsy Shop.
