here is a lovely collection of lost propery - found. its an ongoing project and it involves anyone who wishes to add to it. take a look and if you see any lost property on your travels take a photo on your phone or posh camera and email it to [email protected], don't forget to say where you found it.

There is a certain element of mystery surrounding a lost personal object, How did it get there? Who did it belong to? We are all curious to find out the answers. Perhaps the most interesting thing of all is that how so many of us share the same strange belief that inanimate objects posses thoughts and feelings, making it almost emotional when we come across something lost. This project shows that the subject of lost property is one that connects with us all. We’ve all lost something, we’ve all found something. I hope that looking at the collection of images I have put together they will draw upon that human emotion and that people will find themselves engaged in the possible reasons and narratives behind them.

Hello, Apertures now has an 'online presence'. Whether it just so people can find my phone number and opening times or whether it will become something more interesting remains to be seen.
