Just over a week to go until we host Louis de Bernieres, award winning author of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, on the first leg of his book tour reading from his new memoir ‘Smelling of Rooks’ .

We are so excited to be hosting Louis De Bernier on his Book Tour. We are the first stop on Friday 23rd of October at 7.00. To be held on our first floor, an cozy space where Louise will be reading from his new memoir ‘Smelling of Rooks’. Contact the shop for further information.

Join Louis for readings, conversation and live guitar as he celebrates Smelling of Rooks, his warm, funny and unexpectedly moving memoir of nine years in the Norfolk Alps: rooks, children, cats and “the scraps of life that no biographer would ever think to include”.
