Due to our children's schools taking the decision to close at short notice, we are now without childcare and short staffed for the rest of the week. So as the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them 🙈.
We will be closed for the rest of the week.
This applies to our Lansbury Park shop and Gilfach Bargoed drop in session.

🌞 Pop along and see us tomorrow morning on The Stretch! 🌞
We'll have our gazebos up and be joined by the fantastic Nappy Library by Wastesavers , who will be offering information, advice and the opportunity for local families to try reusable nappies. Whether you're curious about cloth nappies, looking to save money, or wanting to reduce waste, come along for a friendly chat and find out more. 👶♻️
We'll also be hosting a Gwent Police - Caerphilly Officers community surgery, giving residents the chance to raise concerns, ask questions, and get advice from local officers. 👮‍♂️💬
Keep an eye out for the gazebos on The Stretch and don't be shy – come and say hello! Whether you need support, information, or just want to find out what's available in your community, we'd love to see you.

🎊🎊We have received £984, many thanks to Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent for the community partnership funding!🎊🎊

🥰This allows us to run our first targeted youth event Markham Youth Event - Salvaged Creations with skateboarding, options for low-cost uniform support, support with the youth team, games and free food/drinks. 🧋🌭🍔🥤

🏸⚽️Lets get this event shared to as many local young people as possible. Youth HUB Caerphilly North Cluster - Youth Service Gwent Police - Caerphilly Officers Caerphilly Uniform Exchange Skateboard Academy UK 🏏🛹

This event will take place in Markham Community House and Centre 👍👍

Today we were invited along to an amazing Block Party for ALN children hosted by The Hold Up at Create Caerphilly Studio, and what a fantastic day it was!
From beatboxing workshops to graffiti art sessions, there was something for everyone. It was incredible to see young people expressing themselves, building confidence, learning new skills and, most importantly, having fun in a safe and supportive environment.
The Hold Up team are working hard to secure funding to bring these Block Party vibes back to Lansbury Park, and we know what a positive impact that could have on local children and families.
