Another big project accomplished.

This is an old Disston saw that was rescued from a skip, painted then engraved on one side only. The handles on these old saws are really lovely and ornate.

We were asked to help out on creating some Canicross champion engravings and some reserve medallions.

This has been great fun being involved in this project - well done to every champion, reserver and all participants!

This weekend we managed to find some time to prep and engrave this old with a lovely engraving of a bird on a fence post.

Despite the high temps, we have managed to sneak in a little bit of fun.

Here is an old rusty tenon saw, this has been painted black then engraved with an scene.

The reverse is kept 'as is' (just with a bit of rust clean-up, and a rust shield added)

Due to the size this had to be done in 2 sections by removing the base plate first.

The slate did have a lot of natural in perfection (pyrite), but has still come out pretty well over all!
