Woodborough Park Christmas Trees For our 4th (and sadly final) year, we will be selling our Nordmann Fir Christmas trees again in aid of Ukraine. (Please contact John on 07950 002999).

Choose your own tree (4ft-20ft), which we then cut to order for collection or delivery.

Unexpectedly we are still here on the farm and might be around come the Autumn to sell a few more 🎄in aid of 🇺🇦. I will of course update nearer the time, but I am always acutely aware that we don’t promote our larger trees well. If anyone has any links to schools, churches or communities that might benefit from an 18ft + tree, please let them know soon that we can probably help them. After four great years of selling our 🎄in aid of 🇺🇦, this final season is drawing to a close. Last year I didn’t think we would be able to manage a full season this year due to the rapidly decreasing number of trees available. How wrong I was. This year we have sold more trees than last year and the average height of tree sold has been our highest yet!

With your help we will have raised over £27,000 for Ukraine. It seems an age ago now since we discovered the fledgling charity ‘Pickups for Peace’ and travelled to 🇺🇦 with the second convoy of approx 25 vehicles. Since then the charity has delivered over 700 vehicles, each filled with all sorts of humanitarian aid. So a big thank you to you all. It has been great fun chatting with you all; seeing many of you return each year has become as much a part of our festive routine as I know your coming here has been for some of you. Of course if anyone is still in need of a 🎄 this year, we still have plenty to choose from (07950 002999). Once we know for certain what is happening with the farm I will let you know. Whilst this will probably be the last year for us, it may not be for you.

This year our 🎄🎄have ranged in size from 3’ to a whopping 22’. This week has kept us busy and somewhat surprisingly we have already cut more trees this year than last, to the extent that we now have relatively few trees between 6’6 and 12’ left. We still have plenty below 6’6 and above 12ft but if anyone is in need of anything in between, then there is a conversation to be had in relation to trimming a larger tree down to meet your requirements. Yet again a huge shout out to Rob, who once again took the trouble to bring some baubles to decorate a 🎄 in the field, together with a very generous donation in support of 🇺🇦.

Despite the weather we have had a busy week, the net result of which are many more gaps than trees in the field now. We still have a lot of trees up to 6-7ft, but larger ones until one gets to the very large ones are getting in shorter supply. Once again, weather permitting, we will be open over the weekend from 10:00-15:30. PLEASE WEAR DECENT FOOTWEAR AS IT IS GETTING SLIPPERY IN PLACES NOW. If you need to, please ring me on 07950 002999.
