🌊 FIRST EVER KINUSAIGA PROJECT! 🐢

We just had to share this incredible customer creation.

This was made by one of our customers who came to us wanting a very specific underwater design — so we created the pattern especially for her.

And here’s the amazing bit…

She had NEVER done Kinusaiga before. 😮

Just look at what she created for her very first project! The beautiful sea turtle, shafts of light through the water, tropical fish, coral and all those gorgeous jewel-like fabrics — there is so much detail to discover.

This certainly wasn’t the simplest design to choose as a first attempt, but she absolutely embraced the challenge and made it her own. ❤️

One of the things we love most about Kinusaiga is seeing a design come to life through someone else’s choice of fabrics, colours and textures. No two finished pieces will ever be quite the same.

We think she should be incredibly proud of this one.

✨ Inspired by Klimt ✨

It all started with a piece of fabric.

The rich colours, intricate pattern and touches of gold immediately made me think of Gustav Klimt one of my favourite artists — and I knew I wanted to turn that inspiration into a new Kinusaiga design.

From the first sketch, to carving the design, choosing the fabrics and slowly tucking every piece into place… this is how my Golden Sunburst came to life. ☀️

I’ve mixed velvet greens with shimmering gold and that gorgeous Klimt-inspired fabric to create something that feels warm, rich and just a little bit decadent.

And the best bit? Not a stitch in sight. ✂️

I absolutely loved making this one — I think it might be one of my favourites yet.
