NEW BASIC: COTTON FLANNEL 👀 // We have always stocked brushed cotton, both plain and in a range of plaids and prints, but I have to say, I’ve not ever been blown away by the solid version that we stocked… it was fine, but not fabulous.

So, when I saw this range I was IN. This range of plain brushed cotton flannel (or winceyette if you want to be cute) is really lovely quality. It has a great weight, more substancial than our last offering, and comes in a delicious range of colours.

So good for pyjamas, shirts and baby items.

SO GOOD WE GOT IT AGAIN 👏// This ‘Retro Patchwork Flowers’ cotton satin came in a few weeks ago and it sold so quickly that when we reordered we got the other colourway too.
On a side note, I remember having an discussion about the word ‘colourway’ with a friend. We were talking about annoying words or phrases like ‘blue sky thinking’ and ‘diarise’ and ‘circle back’ that sort of thing. And he said he thought saying colourway was silly, that we should just be saying ‘colour’. I had to disagree. ‘Colour’ is fine if there really is just one colour, but when it is a particular palette then we should be using ‘colourway’.
Not sure if anyone else has feelings about these sorts of things. Also not really sure if anyone reads my bizarre ramblings on here or whether people just like the pretty pictures. Discuss.

HERRINGBONE COTTON LINEN BLEND 💙 // This cloth first came in a few months ago, and it sold so well that when new colours were released, we jumped on them.
