No short cuts. Rather than swap the parts out for non-original these will be prepped and painted. Takes a little more time but well worth it to keep them original. Keep your eyes peeled 👀 for progress pics

Currently restoring some corroded SS3000 rotors and bails. All corrosion will be removed and paintwork brought back to life using original colour and finish ⚫. I prefer to keep things original than replacing with cheap tournie BE components, it's worth the extra work. No rattle cans, no masking tape.

As the year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank all my amazing customers for trusting me with your reels. Whether it was servicing, upgrading, or restoring your gear, it's been a pleasure helping you stay ready for the water.

I’m now closing my books for Christmas to spend time with family and recharge for the new year. I’ll be reopening in January and look forward to helping you with all your reel needs in 2025!

A dodgy line clip caused a deep scratch in this baboon rotor. A nice little challenge to fill the scratch then blend a perfect colour match. Touched up a few areas of paint loss whilst I was at it and it now looks as good as new with a gorgeous deep gloss finish.
No rattle cans ❌
No masking ❌
Original colour match ✅

A fully restored pair of SS3000's, now looking as good as new. Paintwork on the bodies has been touched up in original colour. All chips and scratches removed before being finished in a beautiful high gloss. Rotors finished in original satin black.
Fully stripped and ultrasonically cleaned before any work was started. No masking tape and no rattle cans used here.

Spools were treated to a good clean and polish before new line clips and spool rubbers were fitted to finish the job.

Has anyone got a more battered set of SS3000's?

It's testament to their build quality that despite looking like they'd been run over (multiple times) these still worked perfectly. Restoration is almost finished, just a few finishing touches left before they go back to their owner to be used and abused again.

A little before and after of a very tatty SS3000 body. These reels were in a terrible state but they're being restored to their former glory. No rattle cans, no masking, paintwork blended into existing colour to ensure a 100% original match.
