LOCATION CHANGE: Market on Wednesday 18th August will be held at GREAT SHELFORD SPORTS PAVILION

We are sorry for the late notice but due to a last minute change in venue availability tomorrow's market will be held in Great Shelford Sports Pavilion. The Pavillion is still on Woollards Lane and can be accessed via the pathway alongside the play area.

Opening hours remain 9-11.30am

This week we welcomed a new producer to Great Shelford Country Market.
Priti is an artist who recently relocated from California to Trumpington. She is currently utilising a career sabbatical to channel her love for travel and art into a creative venture.
Priti finds beauty in all things grand and mundane and works primarily in watercolour. Priti’s latest passion is painting candles, and she has already landed several custom requests for gifting.
Her beautifully crafted product range includes:
Art prints, tea-towels, notebooks, and greeting cards.
Hand-painted bookmarks
Custom hand-painted candles.

What an incredible day!

Thank you so much to every single one of you who came along to celebrate our 50th Anniversary.
The hall looked wonderful in it's gold and 1970's styling. A joyful buzz practically drowned out the 1976 soundtrack.
We don't have exact numbers but over 50 people were waiting outside at opening, overall footfall was huge and we squeezed in as many extra cafe tables as space allowed.
BBC Radio Cambridgeshire broadcast live twice during the morning, local writer Fraser Grace made a heartwarming speech and cut the magnificent cake; custom created by our very own Hazel Webb.
Thank you for your support over the last half century and we look forward to serving the local community for many more years to come.

Something GOLDEN is coming to Great Shelford this Wednesday!

Can you believe we’ve been bringing the best local makers, bakers, and producers together for half a century? To celebrate 50 incredible years of Great Shelford Country Market we are throwing an anniversary market on Wednesday 17th June. 9-11.30am at our usual venue of Great Shelford Memorial Hall.

As well as the usual fantastic crafts, plants, bakes and produce, there will be music, memorabilia, the obligatory celebratory cake and a surprise or two.

Just a reminder that Wednesday 17th June will be an extra special market morning here at Great Shelford Country Market.

To mark our 50th year we will be hosting a 1970's styled celebration. As well as the usual handmade, home grown and home baked products, there will be a 70's soundtrack, decorations, memorabilia and children's activities.

Come along to celebrate with us and share your memories of market.

Customers at the Market last week may have noticed that we've changed things around a bit. This is to allow you better access to our wide range of plants and flowers. We have perennials and annuals to plant now to give you a great display throughout the summer and in a couple of weeks, look out for tomato, courgette, cucumber, squash and bean plants. And, as ever, house plants and seasonal flowers.

And don't forget to pick up some delicious home-baking and some of our beautiful crafts.

We are celebrating 50 years of serving the community.
