Chez Panaget, tout part du bois. On reรงoit le chรชne, puis vient l'รฉtape du sรฉchage.
D'abord un prรฉ-sรฉchage de plusieurs mois, suivi d'une pรฉriode de stabilisation avant mรชme de scier le bois. Vient ensuite le sรฉchage prรจs d'un mois, puis une nouvelle periode de stabilisation.
Prรจs de cinq mois pour qu'une simple planche devienne un bois stable, rรฉsistant, prรชt ร durer. Ce temps-lร , on le prend et c'est lui qui fait toute la qualitรฉ d'un parquet.
Rรฉsultat : un parquet faรงonnรฉ du dรฉbut ร la fin dans nos ateliers, du chรชne brut ร la lame finie, par nos รฉquipes et notre savoir-faire.
A beautiful parquet floor starts long before installation. ๐ณ
At Panaget, everything begins with the wood. We receive the oak, and then the drying process begins.
First, a pre-drying period lasting several months, followed by a stabilization phase before the wood is even sawn. Then comes nearly a month of kiln drying, followed by another stabilization period.
Almost five months are needed for a simple plank to become stable, durable wood, ready to last. This time is essential โ and it is what makes all the difference in the quality of a parquet floor.
The result: a parquet floor crafted from start to finish in our workshops, from raw oak to the finished plank, by our teams and through our expertise.
