Cambridge Violin Makers

25/09/2026

It's our open day tomorrow. We've been busy today cleaning the workshop and putting out a display for tomorrow. It starts at 11am and runs to 4pm. Anyone is welcome to call in and look around - we'll have some of our students working on their instruments and they and the staff will be on hand all day to answer questions - and if need be guide you round the display :)

Sad to see this bass has been stolen. Please be vigilant should anyone offer such an instrument for sale.

Message from Kristin about this event

"Dear friends and colleagues, I hope you are all doing well.

I’m helping to organise a vocal masterclass in Cambridge and we’re currently looking for singers who may be interested in taking part.

If you know any classical, musical theatre, jazz, or contemporary singers who would benefit from working with an experienced faculty member from the Eastman School of Music, I would be very grateful if you could share this opportunity with them.

Here is the link to sign up as a performer or observer:

Thank you so much for helping us spread the word. Your support is greatly appreciated.

With best wishes,

Kristin
