We won't take the usual approach of stocking this years award winners and very little else - we actively seek out new and interesting products from around the world that you won't see anywhere else in the UK. Of course, there will be brands you're familiar with as there are some extremely impressive products out there from names we all know, but the ethos of our company is performance not badge.

Four brands, one perfect sound.

After our friends at lent us a pair of their fabulous K200 loudspeakers, we played with several products to find our ideal pairing.

First, we needed an amp with fast delivery to throw everything we could to put these speakers to the test.

Vitus Audio (AVA Group A/S) SIA-030 was the obvious choice here, with it's impressive control over the Kerr's. Due to the sensitivity of the K200 of 91db, this allowed the Vitus to stay in it's 30w class A mode for the vast majority of the listening session.

Next, we wanted a streaming DAC as the front end, to keep the system streamlined. There was a clear choice here, the .engineering Helios. Due to our familiarity with this DAC, we were confident this would add Swiss precision & detail to the mix.

Lastly, this all required connecting up. was the obvious choice here, considering how well we have found it working with Weiss & Vitus in the past. For us, Cardas represents some of the finest cables around, and works consistently with any kit we match it with.

So, how does this all sound? Come and have a listen yourself, as this system will be up and running over the weekend. We would love to hear what you think, and to see what music you play through it. One of this week's demonstrations was for a client wanting a compact system for a town centre apartment.

We set up a number of products, and the customer preferred a 812/861 pre-dac / power combination, with the impressive Cairn stand mount loudspeakers from . Cabling by Clear Reflection and mains block by completed the set up.

Compact and easy to accommodate this system may be, but it belies it's size with scale, dynamics and sound staging reminiscent of a far larger and more complex system.

All set up in the customer's apartment now and sounding fantastic!

We have for sale a rather special pair of Avantgarde UNO SD. These were the former distributor's demonstrators.

These are semi-active with passive horns & active bass. They are finished in matte black, with Andromeda grey horns. They also have the optional copper rings fitted.

They come with all accessories and original packaging.

These speakers can be demoed in our showroom.

The last UK RRP for these was around 40K. These are offered with a massive discount at £19995. We will consider trade-ins against these.
