It’s nearly that time of year again, The Wonder of Wood returns! 🪵❤️

The importance of getting children into the great outdoors is greater than ever. The wonderful woodworkers at our show don’t just showcase their wares; they encourage children (and adults alike!) to get hands on with their crafts…

The Wonder of Wood represents an important departure from screen time, plunging children into activities like woodworking, willow weaving, sculpting, and more, fostering skills that stay forever. ❤️

🪵 12th & 13th September // 10-5
🪵 You can buy tickets with cash or card at the entrance gate.

🪵 Tickets are £15 per adult for one day’s entry or £20 for the full weekend. u16s enter for £3 per day or £5 for the weekend, and under 5s are free!

🍎Apple Day 2026 is going to be a BIG one…. Not only is it our 20th year of chosing The Sick Children’s Trust as our chosen charity. But, it is also the 25th anniversary year of Acorn House at Addenbrookes hospital.

Thank you so much for your incredible support in helping us raise over £70,000 for The Sick Children’s Trust over the last 20 years (2025 was our biggest single fundraiser to date, raising £9195.73). This outstanding total is a direct result of your time, energy, and generosity—from attending Apple Day as a spectator, stall holder or for simply spreading the word.

Because of your efforts, more families with seriously ill children will have a welcoming place to stay close to the hospital, practical support when they need it most, and the comfort of being together. Apple Day has contributed real, tangible help for families facing their toughest days.

Thank you for helping us and making such a meaningful difference, we’d be delighted to welcome you back on Saturday 10th October 2026.
