Stock flew off the stand faster than we could restock it, we shook so many new hands, and it was lovely seeing many familiar faces.

There’s something we’ll never get used to: watching a design that started as an idea end up on someone’s wrist, chosen, worn, loved - right in front of us!

We proudly donate 100% of our proceeds to CAMFED to provide education for marginalised girls in sub-Saharan Africa ✏️🧿

Each purchase from Mara Works has a direct impact. One bracelet (£25) will provide 31 school days. One necklace, (£45), 53 school days. One twist (£65), 82 school days. And one pair of earrings (£85) will provide 127 days of school.

Since launching in March 2024, Mara Works has provided 22,956 school days (32 girls through all 4 years of secondary education) to girls in rural Africa.

100% of our proceeds support girls’ education in Sub-Saharan Africa through CAMFED – helping provide the resources and support needed for girls to learn, thrive, and stay in school.
