A day on the cobbles… with a Barnardo’s twist.

Our BOSS and Resilience team joined ITV’s annual Coronation Street Wellbeing Day, alongside more than 1,000 attendees for a day of connection, creativity and community.

From badge-making and games, to sharing emotional wellbeing advice, the team created a welcoming space for families to learn, chat and take a moment for themselves.

It was a brilliant opportunity to meet families, young people and even some familiar Corrie faces, while raising awareness of the support we provide in schools and communities.💚

Be there for children everywhere. Be more Gladys.

This month, look out for our Legacy TV advert which raises awareness about Gift in Wills, and how they support children and young people.

Our advert features the character Gladys, who leaves a gift in her Will which could support Barnardo’s in many ways, such as to support young carers, improve children's mental health, provide homes for young people leaving care and build stronger families through our family centres.

It will be shown across a variety of channels including Channel 4, Film4, More4 and Sky channels throughout March, which is also Free Wills Month. Changing the look of your home for Summer? We need good quality donations of CURTAINS, BEDDING, ORNAMENTS & HOMEWARE.
Did you know we sell ELECTRICAL items? Donations of electricals are also needed.
Please drop off in store or call at back of the shop and ring the doorbell so we can take your donations inside.
Please also remember to GIFT AID your donation if you are a UK tax payer as this adds extra value to your donation and increases funds for our childrens services.
