Would you like to see your work on the shelves at Rock Paper Scissors in the heart of Canterbury? 👀

We’re opening up a few spaces for new independent makers, artists and designers to join our RPS creative community.

We’re looking for beautiful, original, well-made products from prints, illustration and ceramics to jewellery, textiles, homewares, gifts and other creative pieces.

How it works:
Rather than traditional retail, our makers join RPS through an affordable monthly membership + commission on sales.

Your membership helps support the running of our independent creative space, while we provide a city-centre place to showcase and sell your work, introduce it to new customers and promote our makers through the RPS community.

We especially love independent, local, sustainable and slightly different things you won't find everywhere else.

Creative energy is always high at our workshops!

We love seeing what our community creates here, like the amazing Sue Westergaard () who has been working on her upcoming ‘Ghost Clothes’ installation. Her work is all about the memories and stories tied to what we wear, turning vintage fabrics into life-sized art pieces.

It’s been so inspiring watching her process unfold in our creative space, and we can’t wait to see the final pieces hanging in her upcoming exhibition!

If you’ve been wanting to try something new, experiment with different mediums, or just hang out and make things with a lovely group of people, come join us! We have plenty of creative workshops coming up for all skill levels.

A little reflection on why shopping small feels a bit different.
