Our little company is run by Edward and Pippa, from our home in the beautiful Elham Valley in Kent. We have been selling British Wild Flower Seed gift packets since 2012 and are passionate about pollinators, native wild flowers and British wildlife habitats. 🪰 Be a citizen scientist from now until Wednesday 30 September across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and now France, for the first time, whilst driving your vehicle!

📲 If you have a Smartphone and are travelling for work or pleasure, why not take part? You can do so following these easy steps:
1️⃣ Download the app which is available free in both IOS and Android;
2️⃣ Create an account to sign up;
3️⃣ Start surveying on any journey you make in a vehicle between 1 April to 30 September.

👍The more journeys you conduct the survey on, the better – and counts of zero bugs are just as important to submit.

It’s ! So here’s some easy tips on how you (yes, you!) can help bees and other pollinators to thrive 🐝

🌻 Plant pollinator-friendly plants like lavender, geraniums and helenium

🏨 Build a bee hotel to help give solitary bees a place to rest their wings

✂️ Ditch trimming the grass and mow the lawn less

🪻 Let parts of your garden grow wild so that wildflowers can thrive

Tomorrow is WORLD BEE DAY, 20 MAY - what are you doing to help our bees?
It can be a simple thing like buying plants that are great for pollinators (see RHS Plants for Pollinators lists) or providing a shallow dish of water with mossy rocks in it so they can drink in hot weather, as seen here.
