Step inside with us 🎸

We joined Joe Green of .tech - guitarist and Tele-man Simon to turn up some valve amps — a rare treat for sure…

And speaking of treats, Joe brought a few of our electric models down, including the Blue 68T that Simon and Dan demo.

Thanks again to Stave for having us — next time we’ll take a closer look at Joe’s White Boosh OS Custom!

Today Alister and Tom take a closer look at this Parlor version of our all-mahogany Dustbowl series.

The Parlor is the smallest of all the guitar styles we make. We can build a Parlor size of most of our models, so if you want a super compact guitar that can go anywhere, then maybe the Parlor is the style for you!

We’ve been sending out more and more Oxblood guitars recently — it’s a colour we think really complements our acoustics, and this Hawaiian Master is no exception.

It’s now with The Fretted Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. This Roy Smeck-inspired 12-fret is perfect for players who want genuine vintage character in a guitar that feels played in and inspiring from the first chord.

It features a baked Sitka top over mahogany back and sides, a Santos rosewood bridge and fingerboard, a wide 45mm nut and a relaxed 24⅞” scale, with a bone nut and saddle.

Dressed in an Oxblood top that pays homage to Jeff Beck’s refinished ’54 Les Paul — one of the most famous guitars in rock, originally a goldtop before it was reworked and refinished in that deep brownish-red and nicknamed the “Oxblood” ever since.

Drop the team at The Fretted Buffalo a line if you’d like to take this one home.

There’s a reason the dreadnought is the most popular guitar shape in the world.

Big, bold and full of sustain — it’s the sound most players are chasing when they think acoustic.

And this D37 brings it. Baked Sitka top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a zipper back strip, grained ivoroid binding, and a tortoiseshell pickguard cut and bevelled in house. Bone nut, saddle and pins, Gotoh tuners, and a 43mm nut as standard — or 45mm at no extra charge.

As Tom put it: “If I was going to have one more guitar, I’d have a dreadnought.” We’re inclined to agree.

This Hawaiian Master Reserve is a guitar that just keeps giving.

Adirondack Spruce up top, Honduran Mahogany back and sides, Madagascan Rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge, finished with an alluringly dark Sunburst finish.

It’s a gorgeous guitar, and it’s still waiting for the right player… so get in touch if you’d like to order.

This might be our toughest showdown yet.

Alister puts two freshly finished guitars head to head: a natural-top J43 with a gorgeous Adirondack top, and a blinged-out OM37 that’s sophisticated but will still turn heads.

Which one sounds better to you? 👇

Earlier this year we paid a visit to who are just around the corner from us!

We discovered this when our friend Joe Green — who runs .tech in Maidstone — invited us down. He and (another great player) were trying out some valve amps with a few of our electric models they’d brought along with them.

It was great to meet Steph from Stave, and if you’re a creative near Canterbury after a space to shoot or record, give Stave a shout. More videos with the TheGuitarTech lads on the way 🎸

Fresh off the bench: a 0037 Custom for our good friend and long-time Atkin player Boo Hewerdine.

This guitar features an Olive Green Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides, complemented by Pearloid binding, Herringbone purfling and a Pearloid headstock veneer — similar to our Black Pearl series, but the Olive Green top gives it a whole new vibe.

Boo also had us fit a K&K Pure Mini pickup for gigging, so hopefully we’ll see him on stage with it soon!

During her visit to the Atkin Workshop tried out a freshly completed OM37, and it seems like they made a good match… as she treated us to a fantastic demo 🤩

Thanks again for coming by Anna!
