Hurrah! We will be hosting a listening party for the new FONTAINES DC album a full week ahead of release.

It will take place in the shop at 6pm on Thursday October 8th. Space is obviously very limited so you'll need to book your place by getting in touch.

Atttendance is free and no purchase is necessary but we imagine you'll probably want to preorder the album on some format or another.

And yes, there will be freebies!

Get in touch by email, or any flavour of direct message. Thank you.

There's literally a gazillion excellent reissues this week. Here's the first batch.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS 2006 "Stadium Arcadium" is so massively long, it takes up 4 whole records. So it's reissued as a limited 4LP Box Set on brown and orange smokey vinyl.

We get asked about TYPE O NEGATIVE fairly often, so happy to announce their 1996 classic "October Rust" is reissued on a limited double picture disc.

STARSAILOR's 2001 debut "Love Is Here" is on limited orange for its 25th Birthday.

And PETE DOHERTY's 2009 debut solo album "Grace/Wastelands" is back on classic black.

Over on Slide 2, JOHN COLTRANE would have been 100 last week. So there's a lovely 6LP Box Set featuring 100 of his finest moments. £147.50 since you're asking. But there's also a rather more affordable 2LP highlights set.

All these are on the website now (apart from the COLTRANE box cos it weighs a ton). All available in the shop from Friday morning. https://vinylstorejr.co.uk/

The last of last week's new releases have belatedly landed. Worth waiting for though!

We have a limited reissue of one of the greatest albums of the 90s, "The Sound Of MCALMONT & BUTLER" on blue and green double! With a SIGNED print! Do you want one? Yes! You Do!

We have the brand new album from one of the world's very finest psychedelic rock bands, Sweden's DUNGEN. This new one is called "Vidrig Var" which means "horrible Spring". Ranges from flute-laden psych-folk to full-on spacey guitariness.

And we have the excellent second album from enigmatic electronic post-punk duo THE SICK MAN OF EUROPE, called "The Intermittent Signal", on an exclusive DINKED clear vinyl edition with bonus flexi-disc and poster.

All in the shop or on the website now!

New Releases here for Friday Part 4: Live Albums!

We finally have a reissue of ALICE IN CHAINS gloriously gloomy "MTV Unlugged" from 1996 on a standard black double.

ORBITAL's set at Glastonbury 1994 was definitely a turning point for festival-sized electronica, and now finally gets an official release. We have a limited blue/yellow double.

And the series of CAN live albums finds our heroes in Arles in 1975 with no vocalist by this point, just the classic Czukay, Liebezeit, Caroline, Schmidt quartet jamming away over 4 sides.

All in the website now, shop from Friday.
