Hi I have tried to contact people regarding honey , I have people already in my messenger which I’ve contacted, this is good and reply, but the people which have asked for honey through the comment page on here ,it’s hard to get hold of you and there is so many , ive tried to message , and I can’t keep going on through all the messages to check everyone , so I would appreciate a private message in return , if don’t here from you no honey , plus I’ve got a limited number of jars left

Hello people just a up date on what’s happening here , we are starting to jar up honey , but unfortunately due to loosing 2 hive , it’s been hard due to flowers coming out early this year and being very hot for the bees.We don’t think we will be able to cover big orders but you will get some and those asking for more than 3/4 jars you might or might not get , however we will be another batch this weekend to see , I don’t think we will be able to have honey comb as it’s taking too long ,for those that was asking for that too, I will let you guys know if things change , thank you for being patient with us x I will start pm people when available and to come and collect .This week or next week.

Also we have a card machine available just let me know when you come so i have it ready and the price will be abit more as the jars and labels have increased .The price has not changed for a number of years , so it might be pound or 50p dearer than before ,hope that’s ok .

Hello I have had a huge response to leaving messages due to asking for those that have been with me awhile for how many jars , This was a HOBBY not a business only afew locals had honey ,now it’s gone bigger I’m trying to answer you all ,but there is only so much I can do , plus have WE LOST 2 hives I Don’t Know how much honey we are going to get ,so those that are asking in comments,I can’t promise I have 250 people wrote down plus 95 in my PM box please be patient ,Also it’s been over whelming and heartbreaking losing my Son Harry in September

Hi the honey is not ready yet , I just need to know on number for jars so we know , what sort of number we need to try and get , plus the list is bigger than ever & so far weather is not too bad , but anything can happen so we are counting on it staying good for the harvest and happy 😊 people .We did have 5 hives we lost 2 queens after winter , but we have 3 hives left depending on well they

Plus we will be doing pieces of honey comb small / large boxes

And Xmas fingers crossed gift boxes
With small honey / candle etc 🕯️ so watch this coming Xmas

Hello For those that have said add them to the list please can you tell me , how many jars you require as we need to keep an eye on stock availability .

Those that I know that have already told me that’s fine.

It’s just the list which only started with a few people from the start in 2021 and we only produced 88 jars now 6 years on.

The list is getting bigger and I want to be able to let everyone taste our honey 🍯 on the island and don’t want anyone left out , we are not a shop nor is it stocked on the shelves, so if you can tell me that would help us , also if not collected after being told a good few days or let me know you can’t collect for a reason please tell me,or it will go to next in line

PURE HONEY IS NOT CHEAP, AND CHEAP HONEY IS NOT PURE.

Remember this when you are buying Honey. It is very expensive to keep Honey Bees. We know the quality and product and service we give and equipment we have to help us when harvesting honey 🍯

Bee keeping or Bee farming is not only a rewarding but also an enjoyable occupation with many benefits. It has a number of advantages

1. Requires little land.
2. Capital investment is low compared to other farm enterprises
3. Beekeeping or bee farming is cheap and relatively not competitive to other Agricultural enterprises
i.e, does not compete for resources
4. Labour required is low.
5. About ten (10) products can be obtained which are great source of income i.e. honey, beeswax, pollen propolis, bee venom, royal jelly, bee colonies, bee brood, queen bees, and package bees.
6. Encourages environmental conservation.
7. Bees are good pollinators of plants, trees, fruits and crops, thus playing a big role in bio-diversity and improvement of crop yields
8. The therapeutic value of most hive products provide remedy for a number of ailments (Apitherapy)

Hi sorry for the delay if you messaged me regarding honey , I’ve been busy on my Bee Happy Felting page , plus did craft fair on Saturday .
I have put your name down on the list this year if you see a 👍 icon , I can’t message everyone as it gets too much checking comments & pages , we are going to be doing honey , but cannot stress enough about our weather , so if the weather is poor and not a lot of food about for the bees 🐝 honey won’t be good, and what turned out to just 🐝 a hobby is over whelming with the response in islander’s having the honey 🍯🙂

I have over 5 pages of names down on the list for honey already and cannot promise how much we get this year , plus we lost 😞 2 Queens in our hives after winter . , So hopefully every one will receive some of Canvey Honey 🍯 please be patient too as it’s not till end July August we will know what is available from the 🐝 and we don’t have a stock cupboard full of it , as we get it & jar it & it goes out the door .

So Bring on a good summer and il bee 🐝 in touch with you people nearer the time and when it’s Due .
